Recruiting the right candidate can be a bit of a mine field and the stakes are high as making a mistake can cost time and money.
The FoodForeThought team have a great track record in this area and recently developed a bespoke assessment and selection process for an IT based client.
The challenge was to design a process which would identify the key skills and behaviours for a new, entry level role, into the sales team.
After lengthy discussions with the sales leadership, we developed a full day assessment centre, comprising role play, presentation, competency based interview, group exercise and on line numerical and verbal reasoning tests.
All of the assessors were fully briefed so that scoring was consistent and fair and we ran 4 assessment centres of 2 weeks, taking 40 candidates in total.
10 lucky people were selected and offered and all have performed really well, successfully passing their probation period.
